Types of Care Funding

Methods of funding home care or Live in Care

Privately Funded
We offer assistance to individuals who either self-funding their care or receive funding from family members. We gladly interact directly with private individuals and their families or close ones to deliver care and support. Our teams remain readily accessible for casual discussions and to aid you or your loved ones as you navigate through the social care sector journey.

Local authority Funded
We extend assistance to individuals whose care is funded and arranged by KCC (Kent County Council). Our support is available for those funded by KCC in the following categories:

Personal care
Dementia care
Live in Care
Care for individuals with learning disabilities
Care for individuals with mental health conditions
Care for individuals with physical disabilities
Care for individuals with sensory impairments

Direct Payments Funded
Individuals eligible for care and support through Kent County Council have the option of receiving a direct payment. This means the council funds are transferred to a Kent Card or bank account, giving individuals the freedom to use the money for their care and support needs instead of accessing services directly from the council. We welcome the use of the Kent Card and are pleased to offer support to both adults and children who are funding their care through this method.

NHS Continuing Healthcare Funded
NHS Continuing Healthcare is for people who require a lot of assistance due to their health and care needs. NHC Continuing Healthcare also offers a Fast-Track Pathway for people with rapidly deteriorating health or nearing the end of their lives.
We collaborate with NHS Continuing Healthcare to support a variety of individuals.

Insurance Companies Funded
We welcome referrals from insurance companies for short breaks and enablement support in Kent. Contact your insurance provider to inquire about your eligibility, or inform them that we accept referrals within Kent for all the services listed on our website.
